Powerful video to show at your church service this Sunday morning

The vision of First Priority is the Hope of Christ in every student

There is Hope!
There is Hope!

As students are preparing to return to school next week, we are asking everyone to please show the powerful video above during their church service this Sunday, August 19. This

generation of students is faced with many challenges such as peer pressure to abuse drugs and alcohol, negative influences in the media, homosexuality, sex before marriage, abortion, school violence and gang activities, fear, low self-esteem and so much more.

The statistics of the challenges that teenagers in America face are hard to believe and understand. A common response we get is, "I never knew" or "How did it get this way?"

The simple answer is, "There is no hope apart from Christ." The solution is a spiritual one: The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Hope. It is the power of God to save us.

Check out www.gofirstpriority.com for more information on our movement to reach a generation of teenagers with the Hope of Christ.

Please share this video with your church on Sunday as students return to school. Pray for and commission students as they enter the mission field on their campus for the new school year. Please share this video on your Facebook and Twitter pages as well.

AITM 2013

Registration is now available for Alive in the Mountains (AITM) 2013. We are excited to invite you, your youth group and family to join us for another exciting and life-changing conference! We listened to you and we're bringing this world-class retreat back Saturday, Jan. 19 - Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend. And, as an added bonus, we changed locations so you won't have to fight hours of traffic! AITM will be held at the beautiful Tivoli Theatre in Downtown Chattanooga, just a short 2-hour drive from Birmingham. AITM has been a valuable retreat in the past for local groups and families, and we are excited about this year's event. Offering prices lower than ever before, this first-class retreat will again be in a great setting in which you can keep your group identity in the midst of a larger group.

All Alive details as well as the registration packet are now available at www.aliveinthemountains.org. Be sure to check it out and take advantage of the $89* per person rate!

We hope you, your youth group and family will join us for this life-changing retreat. Your students will be challenged to live, share and defend the ultimate truth in a world full of doubt. If you have any questions, please call 205.871.8886 or e-mail info@gofirstpriority.com.
