Happy Thanksgiving from

First Priority

Staff Christmas Pic 2011

We hope you and your family have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving holiday. We are so thankful for you and your continuous prayer and support. It is because of you that we are able to reach students with the love and message of Jesus Christ each week on more than 250 school campuses across the Greater-Birmingham area. We are truly grateful for people like you who desire to see students come to know Christ. We thank God for the amazing things He is doing in our schools this year. During Kah-riss, National Campus Missionary Week October 24-28, nearly 600 salvations were reported across the nation and over 100 of those salvation decisions were made in the Greater-Birmingham area. We serve a great and almighty God! We have so much to be thankful for. May God bless you and your family this holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving from the staff at First Priority!

Don't miss Brent Crowe at Alive in the Mountains 2011

Brent Crowe

Thought-provoking Visionary and Speaker Brent Crowe will be one of our featured speakers at Alive in the Mountains Dec. 27-30, 2011. Brent is an emerging spiritual and cultural leader who uses humor and real life situations to relate to people at the heart of their struggles. The roles of husband, father, minister, evangelist, writer and leader have allowed Brent to influence people from all walks of life throughout his years in ministry.

Engaging issues such as leadership, culture and change, Brent speaks to tens of thousands across the nation and abroad at both national and international evangelistic events and leadership conferences. In addition to being a full-time evangelist, Brent is currently serving as the vice president for Student Leadership University (SLU). SLU has trained over 48,000 students to commit themselves to excellence and affords Brent the opportunity to speak at symposiums in Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, Washington D.C., London, Oxford, Paris, Normandy, Africa and the Middle East. The desire of Brent's heart is to see people realize that they have been set apart to the gospel of God and thus, in turn, they must set their lives apart in an effort to capture every moment in worshipful service to Him. Click here to learn more about Brent. Brent will also be a featured speaker at our Leader's Summit on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.

At Alive in the Mountains, Brent will be speaking from the First Book Challenge series, which is this year's conference theme. Without a working knowledge of Scripture, students lose their grasp on the Word of God, and this releases a chain reaction of anger, resentment, lack of purpose, and disappointment with life. They are more likely to steal, be physically abusive, cheat on an exam, use illegal drugs, and attempt suicide. The Bible is the change agent for this generation; students need a deeply held belief in God and His Word. This belief will serve as the foundation of their faith so that no matter what comes their way, they will stand strong. The Word of God now and always is speaking as it was in Samuel's day, and someone is listening. We hope you and your group will join us for Alive in the Mountains 2011 as we study the truth. We will be challenged to embrace Scripture, God's Word, for answers and direction for our lives. Click here to learn more about the First Book Challenge.

Alive in the Mountains will be held at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Dec. 27-30, 2011. We still have space available. We have great deals for groups and families. Be sure to check out www.aliveinthemountains.org for more information about the conference and to register. Visit the Web site to download the group and family registration packets. We hope you, your church group and family will be able to attend this life-changing retreat!
