Kah-riss Update - Almost 600 decisions for Christ so far!

 Kah-riss 2011

As a part of First Priority's Kah-riss Movement, over 5,000 students across the nation experienced the Hope of Christ during the first of three weeks. Approximately 563 students from 63 middle and high schools made salvation commitments. Locally, 112 salvation decisions were made during the first week of Kah-riss. We praise God and give Him the glory for the incredible things He is doing on our campuses!

The following is a story from First Priority in South Florida. New River Middle School in Northeast Broward County is a First Priority Club Movement that just started in January. It averages about 15 students each week. However, at last week's club meeting the place went crazy. Just like every other "Hook" Week, pizza and drinks were provided, but this time, 120 students attended. At first, club leaders were frantic thinking there is no way there is enough pizza. So, they went to the front office to order more, and guess what was waiting there for them... more pizza! The student leaders are calling it their "pizza miracle."  But, the best part is, of those 120 students, when the gospel was shared, 75 of them made decisions for Christ. WHAT, 75 students? That's revival! We don't witness crazy moments like these often, but when they happen we say, "Praise God!"

It's not too late to get involved with Kah-riss. We still have two more weeks. Help make this month's SEEK week at your First Priority club a great one and be part of something HUGE going on across the nation! Ways you can get involved:

- Create corporate and individual opportunities to pray for Christian students on local middle and high school campuses as they share their faith with their peers.

- Tell the story of Kah-riss to the local First Priority Networks in your community: Church, Faculty and Parents;

- Leverage city resources to be focused on Christian students at school - before, during and after;

- Report to us all decisions made for Christ; and

- Contact us to ensure you are fully equipped and have all resources for Kah-riss 2011.

We truly appreciate your participation. We have FREE follow up materials for students as well. For more information and resources, contact us at 205.871.8886 or info@gofirstpriority.com, or visit www.fpoa.org.

What is Kah-riss? Kah-riss is 5 days of focused sharing about the Hope of Christ on over 2,500 Middle and High Schools with First Priority Clubs across the US. With over 250,000 students now participating in First Priority Clubs all over the US, our hope is to see at least 10,000 students experience the Hope of Christ from their peers, and for many to respond.
