Don't miss Dave Edwards at Alive in the Mountains 2011

Dave EdwardsAuthor and Prominent Communicator of God's Word Dave Edwards will be one of our featured speakers at Alive in the Mountains Dec. 27-30, 2011. Dave travels the country full-time, speaking to young adults in churches and a variety of other places. Regardless of the setting, whether in the pulpit, on stage at a summer camp, in a large arena, at a City-Wide Young Adult Bible Study, or in a high school, David's message is simple: Helping students and young adults discover the importance of a Christ-centered lifestyle. A gifted communicator, David speaks from his heart about issues relevant to this generation.

Dave is the author of 14 books and has written a tract called "How to Make Life All Good." Dave is the co-author of the First Book Challenge series, which is the theme of Alive in the Mountains this year. Without a working knowledge of Scripture, students lose their grasp on the Word of God, and this releases a chain reaction of anger, resentment, lack of purpose, and disappointment with life. They are more likely to steal, be physically abusive, cheat on an exam, use illegal drugs, and attempt suicide. The Bible is the change agent for this generation; students need a deeply held belief in God and His Word. This belief will serve as the foundation of their faith so that no matter what comes their way, they will stand strong. The Word of God now and always is speaking as it was in Samuel's day, and someone is listening.
