Be sure to listen to the Rick and Bubba Show tomorrow morning, May 12, at 7 a.m. as Brett and Deanna Favre challenge listeners to become personally involved with First Priority's Bags of Hope project.

 

In last week's E-newsletter, we shared with you our tornado relief efforts to provide spiritual and emotional encouragement to a teen impacted by the recent storms through our Bags of Hope emphasis.  Please support this unprecedented need in our area and help touch young lives with the love of Jesus Christ. Please click here for a suggested items list for the Bags of Hope. Once a bag is filled, it can be dropped off at the same location it was picked up and then a First Priority Representative will distribute the bags to youth through schools and communities devastated by the recent tornados. We invite you to the Make Your Move Tornado Relief Benefit Concert this Sunday, May 15

 

Make Your Move Benefit Concert

 

We would like to invite you to the Make Your Move Tornado Relief Benefit Concert on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at 6 p.m. at the BJCC Arena, 2100 Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard North, Birmingham, AL 35203-1102. Doors will open at 5 p.m. This concert will aid storm victims of the devastating tornadoes that hit Alabama on April 27. Proceeds will be distributed statewide through the Come Together Fund to several chosen relief agencies, including: The Birmingham Dream Center, Alabama Baptist Tornado Relief Fund, Samaritan's Purse and World Vision. All of these agencies are already on the ground working to meet the immediate needs of Alabama tornado victims.

 

Participating artists include: Third Day, Tenth Avenue North, Trevor Morgan, Rush of Fools, Rick and Bubba, David Nasser, James Spann and many more. Tickets are $10 at the door. VIP tickets are $100 and include: Premium Seat, Q&A, Signed VIP Poster and Autographed Glory Revealed book. Click here for VIP tickets.
