Prayer Partner Newsletter
July 2008
Greetings!

This was to be a very short Prayer Partner Newsletter.  It also was going to be sent out in May.  Due to some health and employment issues, I decided to greatly reduce the time I spent working on Share the Savior through most of the summer, and make you aware that the Prayer Newsletter was one of the things that was being cut back.  Then I didn't even get that word out.

As we near the end of July, I realize that cutting the prayer line was the last thing that should have been considered.  With all the things I have to be thankful for, you're willingness to pray is high on the list...I intend to make greater use of such a great gift!

Thank you in Christ,
Scott

Share the Savior:
Someone You Love Needs Him

Praise Report

I've returned to working on the ministry, and the employment and health issues have been largely resolved.  This is huge because both issues were very difficult to deal with, and came at the same time.  As you can see from my list below, there's more to be thankful for.

Partial Answers to Prayer (to review the original prayer, click on the issue link after each praise)
  1. I believe God has provided the name of someone to consider as our Administrative Manager.  We have worked well together in the past, and they have shown an encouraging interest in Share the Savior. (January 2008)
  2. Subscriptions to The Eleven Twelve Project have increased from 70 to 89, and 3 of the last 5 subscribers have been pastors. (March 2008)
Other Praises
  1. Sixteen churches have requested information about our evangelism resources in the last 45 days.
  2. We have had 3 face to face meetings with pastors in the last month.

Prayer Requests

1.  A pastor in Alameda asked me to pray for his church, and I felt so strongly about their need, that I wanted to ask you to join me.

Father, meet this local assembly's greatest spiritual need.

2.  I want to rush out and ask the potential Administrative Manager if they'd be willing to start immediately.

Father, give us wisdom to know when and if to present our ministry opportunity to this dear sister in Christ.

Thank you again for your commitment to Christ and this ministry.  May God give you great spiritual wealth, as you continue living for him, in a world that is largely against him.

Yours in Christ,
Scott
