The Pride Cartoon is all for the love of cats. Yours, mine, ours, and the ones that have no one. The cats in my mother's yard (the ones you read about in The Feral Cat Report, the  ones I inherited when I didn't have a dime to feed them), eat only because I have enough to share. WELCOME! to the November 2010 issue of The Pride Cartoon™ E-News... a publication of The Pride™, the Award-Winning Reality Cat Cartoon Starring Crazy Johnny.
November, of course, is Thanksgiving month. Cats across America are anxiously awaiting their turkey feast, and giving no thanks for it whatsoever. As we plan our menu, I feel a little sorry for all the turkeys who are gobbled by cats this month. It's really not fair, is it?

Julie's Friends
......and NOT!
(The Disgrace of the Ban on Pets in the Yard)

 JULIE'S FRIENDS is a recurring segment that honors friends made during Julie's walks. (By "walk", of course I mean those things which are supposed to help her shed pounds, but are in fact long periods of reclining, punctuated by an occasional step toward the shrubs). Most of the time, Julie is admired. However, some people very rudely call her "fat". To combat the F word, we began distributing FAN POINTS to anyone who meets Julie without saying it. 10 FAN POINTS earns a subscription to our E-News, and honorary mention in this section! --------- Can you believe it's been a year since our first installment of Julie's Friends? That was our first ever issue. We've met a lot of people since then. Many earned FAN POINTS. And some deserve serious POO POINTS. I know, I said we weren't going to dignify bad behavior with recognition, but some things are just so over the top outrageous you want to..... to.... scratch something. So, even against our own protocol, today we deliver the PP to the OTT. Hands down and by a large margin, the winner of the grand POO is the co-op board of our building for unilaterally, suddenly, without discussion, debate or consideration for the innocent, banning pets.... Continued....

And finally in November,
A FEW UPDATES ON PAST STORIES....
Baby Grace: although blinded by her ordeal, was adopted by her foster family. They adore her. She lives happily ever after.
Adolfo: has made his house his castle and vigorously defends it against all enemies foreign and domestic. His first wife, Sylvia, and his friend "Also" met untimely fates in the summer of 2010. He is remarried to HalfTail, who shares the house with him.
Halftail's kittens: never fell off the porch, were never attacked. HalfTail was a great mom. They were all adopted to good homes.
Cow: may finally have met his fate. Missing since 2009. Presumed.
R.I.P., The Boss of Cars.
The Finger: although long gone, the memory still haunts me.+/- 18 Inherited Feral Cats: Still there. Still hungry.
