WMCO 50th anniversary logo

WMCO's yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary began at Homecoming in October.

Alumni attended an open house at the station's headquarters in Philip and Betsey Caldwell Hall and rode on the WMCO float in the Homecoming parade. The grandchildren of WMCO's founder, Board of Trustees President Hal W. Burlingame '62, did a live broadcast from the Geyer Studio.

Many more activities will be held throughout the year, including special events during Alumni Weekend June 17-19, 2011.

Stay tuned by visiting the WMCO anniversary website. Or contact Lisa Marshall, station manager, by email or by calling 740-826-8189.

Everyone Deserves a Happy Christmas

Why is Muskingum such a special place? There are as many reasons for that as there are Muskies.

Christmas on Campus

Many student organizations - academic, athletic, Greek, honoraries, even entire floors of residence halls - have taken part during the two-decade history of this tradition.

"Everyone deserves a happy Christmas," explained junior Kary Skelley. "We like to give back to the community we live in as well as to our families at home," added sophomore Bethany Sines. Read the full story
