Boulder County Green Building Conference:  April 26 2010
Ideas to Action - Not Just a conference - this groundbreaking local event will bring together green building professionals, local government staff, local officials, practitioners, and innovators to educate, learn, inspire, and build connections. Ideas to Action will be a collaborative event that will facilitate the translation of ideas into actions to assist our community in achieving greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals in the residential and commercial green building sectors. Architects: AIA and State CE Self Reporting Credits Available for this event. New Opportunities: Commercial Energy Efficiency Projects
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Commercial Building Partnerships (CBP) initiative engages commercial businesses interested in constructing new buildings or retrofitting existing buildings that are significantly more energy efficient than the current building stock. Commercial Building Partnerships is seeking proposals for energy-efficient building projects and for companies to provide technical expertise. The Governor's Energy Office (GEO) will be offering rebates for various energy upgrades beginning 8 a.m. April 19 as part of the state's 'Recharge Colorado' campaign.
