The Mayborn is proud to host Baylor's Japanese Student Association to celebrate the new season with a Japanese Spring Festival on Saturday, April 18 from 11am to 4pm. The Spring Festival is also known as the "Sakura" Festival, taking its name from the Japanese word for cherry blossoms. These colorful flowers are a symbol of the temporary nature of life in the Japanese culture and are celebrated as a sign of spring in festivals around the world.

The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our museum store and a Family Pass. Use it for your next visit or share it with someone who's never been.

Congratulations to Brooke and David Jolliff who correctly guessed that the picture in our March e-newsletter was of a brass ball on the pendulum table in the Simple Machines room. We had lots of great guesses - from Christmas ornaments to a brass bed post. Thanks to everyone who played.

We will announce this month's winner in our next Museletter...Good Luck!
