what is it game logo

Each month we will post a mystery picture from the museum. All you need to do is click on it to tell us what it is. We will draw a winner from all the correct answers. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our museum store and a Family Pass. Use it for your next visit or share it with someone who's never been.

Congratulations to Melinda Bell, the winner in our first "What Is It." She correctly identified the picture as part of the water table in the Water and Bubbles room.

We will announce this month's winner in our next Museletter...Good Luck!

  • New wind chimes and birdhouses are now in stock; you’ll love the whimsical and nature-related themes.
  • We’ve also got “portly” bears, rabbits and frogs with a secret compartment to hide your keys!
  • We are getting in new books every day. You can read about everything from “Miss Ladybird’s Wildflowers” to “Armadillo Ray”. Come meet “Tiny the Dinosaur” and learn all about the “Mammoth Academy”.
  • Rocks and minerals and crystals—oh my! The Museum Store is loaded with every kind of rock or fossil you could want. Be sure to look at our one-of-a-kind specimens under glass!
  • You also might want to check out our puppet selection. We’ll have a big, new shipment of Folkmanis puppets just in time for our next puppet show here at the museum.
