Greetings!
TEAM Latinissimo @ NZPSC  | Gian & Masha, Alyx & Tania and the entire TEAM Latinissimo are
back from the NZ Pacific New Zealand Salsa Congress in Wellington.
It
was a great event over the Easter weekend featuring the best NZ salsa
teams, couples plus international artists from Australia, USA and
Italy. 4 NZ teams were selected to represent NZ at the upcoming
Sydney Salsa Congress in January 2010 - one team for each night of the
congress.
TEAM Latinissimo competition students were selected to for the biggest night of
the congress - Saturday night - to perform alongside the "heavy weights" of salsa -
congratulations TEAM Latinissimo! It will be the 3rd time Latinissimo students perform at the Sydney Salsa Congress.
Alyx and Tania premiered their new salsa routine flawelessly and Gian
& Masha displayed their new Cha Cha showpiece which was an absolute
hit amongst the spectators. Gian & Masha have a regular spot as NZ representatives for the Sydney Salsa Congress.
All it all, it was a great congress with great organization! We look forward to next years congress!

TEAM Latinissimo members!
 Marinella de Leon (PHI)
Marinella has been dancing salsa since early 2007. She did not really know what to expect from salsa but has found it is extremely fun, exciting, and a sexy expression of femininity with clothes on!
From 2008 she learned more about the importance of understanding the basics, lead & follow, tempo, and musicality through regular practices with her dance partner, whom she met at the gym. Interestingly enough, he also happened to be a member of TEAM Latinissimo..!

 Yuran Qin (PRC) Like many Geminis, Yuran is an energetic and bubbly girl. She born in the Eastern part of China and arrived in New Zealand 7 years ago to study interior design and architect. Yuran has always had an interest in dance. She did on and off hip hop dancing for about a year and has dabbed her feet into jazz as well. Her biggest interest is however Latin dancing! Read more... |
