Greetings!

In this issue, we have:

  • And . . . a new YouTube!
  • Follow us on Twitter
  • October CZT Training update

Enjoy!

Mooka

mooka title

Here's a fun new tangle that's a bit different because the entire tangle component (we're calling it a "pod" for now) is completed in one continuous stroke.

This tangle was inspired by a familiar art nouveau style popularized by Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860-1939).

We invite you to get to know this tangle. We think it will find a special place on your palette of patterns.

To help you understand this tangle, we've created a YouTube instruction in addition to our printed instructions below.

This tangle's continuous line aspect will be of particular interest to free form quilters.

We look forward to seeing what you create with this dynamic new tangle!

October CZT Seminar UpdateRegistration Form Thumb

Lots of goings on in our Zentangle world these days.

We'll file this next one under the category of "When one door closes, another opens."

We just learned that as of August, 2011, the Worcester Diocese will close Oakhurst Retreat Center. That's the facility we have been using for our CZT training seminars.

NOTE: For all you folks who are attending our May seminar, nothing has changed.

We have contacted students who had already registered and paid for our October training.

If you are still planning to come in October and haven't registered, please register right away to hold your place. Until we know all final details we will not charge your card or deposit any more checks. Later when we know, we'll contact you to confirm any changes in location or price before we process your registration.

We have narrowed our choices to two excellent facilities and expect to confirm our choice soon.

Both new facilities can seat more people than before. Both will also be available for summer seminars, so next year we will schedule classes for many people who could only attend during summer months.

To learn more about our CZT program, please refer to our previous newsletter and its links.

We don't know how many more students we'll be able to seat, but if we were still going to be at Oakhurst, we'd only have five seats left! So please register soon if you'd like to attend.

We will miss our familiar retreat center that is so economical and close (within walking distance of our home/studio/gallery). We are grateful to Ed and Terri Meilus and their family and staff for their friendship and for their wonderful hosting at Oakhurst.

As always, we are grateful to be able to share this wonderful adventure with you!
