New website officially launched
With the start of the school year come several great
changes. We have officially launched our new website! Please check it out at OKWesley.org.
We are excited to use this
as a tool to better communicate with our students as well as our alumni and
donors. Some additions you should be looking for in the coming months on our
website include a pastor's blog, sermon podcasts, online giving and more!

As we seek to stay in communication with today's college students, it only seemed appropriate that The Wesley created its own twitter
account.
This provides one more means of communication between us and our

Updates
around the building
Janey, Taylor, and the staff have been working very hard
this summer to make our building more hospitable and welcoming. Many hours were
spent cleaning, throwing stuff away, re-arranging the building, painting,
hanging new signs, tearing down the old shed, etc. We are excited to unveil our
brand new signs featuring our new logo on the front, back and sides of our
building.
Please see some of the attached pictures to get an idea of all the work
that was done. We believe these small, yet important changes will provide an
atmosphere that students will be drawn to and it will allow them to experience
radical hospitality.

Back to school events
While all of the updates around the building have enhanced
our ministry, it's the relationships and programming that keep the students
coming back. We have been reaching out to 100s of incoming students and telling
them about our ministry.
We have planned a great back to school cookout on
Saturday, August 21 complete with inflatable games, live music,
and great food. Our first worship service of the year will be Tuesday, August
24 and most of our great small groups and Bible studies will begin
over the first 2-3 weeks of school.
We are excited to see what God has in store
for the ministry this coming school year. Please pray for us as we reach out
and minister to 100s of new students!

the Moore Golf & Athletic Club

Updates to the Building: The front room of the Wesley received a face lift with new paint and decorations making it a perfect place for students to fellowship, study and just spend time between classes.  The new logo for The Wesley is now all around the building including in the front entry way.  The shed behind The Wesley has been torn down creating a place for the grill and making our land much more attractive. |
