Introducing the E-newsletter
CONNECT, Coastal Commmunity Foundation's e-newsletter, is a new online resource that allows you to access information about the community and to find out ways to get involved.  Through the e-newsletter, you will be able to stay connected with the community's happenings.  The monthly issue highlights recent grantees, community initiatives, upcoming grant deadlines, and ways to stay engaged. Enjoy!

Youth Master Plan
Making history means planning for the future. Truly involving young people in the making of decisions that affect their educational opportunities, health and wellness, employment, and recreation options requires, as a first step, allowing youth and adults to plan together.   Training adults to listen and youth to speak-up is the first step of a regional master planning process.  In January, leadership training sessions were conducted by a consortium of local nonprofit and governmental agencies, facilitated by Coastal Community Foundation, to prepare youth for leadership roles in the planning process.  For more information go to:  http://www.charlestoncity.info/dept/content.aspx?nid=1558
