BLINDSIGHT premiere at the Boulder Theater June 10th & 11th
Come see the Academy Award shortlisted documentary BLINDSIGHT in Boulder. On Tuesday, June 10th there will be a special VIP gathering hosted by Erik Weihenmayer at Q's (Hotel Boulderado) followed by the film at the Boulder Theater. OnWednesday, June 11th our own Michael Brown will be in person to introduce the film and answer questions after the screening. Proceeds from both nights go to benefit Global Explorers', a Colorado nonprofit organization.
Storm Chasers This spring the Serac Crew is spending their time chasing tornadoes in the midwest; stay tuned for the excitement of Storm Chasers when new episodes premiere in October on the Discovery Channel.
Film Festival News: 3 Peaks 3 Weeks 3 Peaks 3 Weeks will be screened at the Jackson Hole Film Festival June 5-9th as part of a special selection of films that address global issues. Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon will be in attendence discussing how film and television can raise public awareness of critial global issues.
3 Peaks 3 Weeks was also screened at the Berkshire International Film Festival May 15-18th. This year's festival honored the acting career of Kevin Bacon.
3 Peaks 3 Weeks also took home a Silver Remi Award for feature documentary at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival.
5 Points Film Festival
The Serac Crew was in attendance to see Runner Up prize winning film The Endless Knot at the first annual 5 Points Film Festival in Carbondale Colorado. This new festival was created by good friends Julie Kennedy and Michele Cardomone. The weekend included a wonderful line up of films, guest speakers and a great wrap up party. Bravo Ladies!
