Greetings!
We have a big weekend ahead of us! We will be having an Open  House on Saturday, November 19th from 10-2pm. Come and learn about all of the programs and services that we have to offer. Light refreshments, facility tours, and activities and crafts for children will be provided. We will also be offering our van and bus services for pickups.

If you are interested in the Canada Learning Bond (CLB), we're having a meeting here at the Club on November 19th. The CLB is money from the Government of Canada to help you start saving early for your child's education after high school! Refreshments will be served. Read more about the Canada Learning Bond.
Learning Centre Grand Opening
Take note... on Friday, December 2nd at 4PM will be the Grand Opening of the Learning Centre. Renovations are complete and everyone is invited to come see the new Centre! Special guests and light refreshments will be served.
Youth groups joined forces - introducing YOUTH SJ
 Four organizations committed to serving children and youth have joined forces within an umbrella group called YOUTH SJ to provide a united voice for the region's young people, improve programs for them and limit duplication of services. YOUTH SJ is an acronym for Youth Organizations United Together Helping Saint John. The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John, the YM-YWCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Resource Centre for Youth in Greater Saint John have been cobbling together the plan for the past 18 months. The seed of the idea was part of the Boys and Girls Club's strategic plan. We're not creating a new agency, it's not a new organization to be competitive for fund raising.
Our Gold Rush 50/50 (that funds our lunch program) is getting  more and more popular! Thank you to everyone who is playing & supporting this important program.
