Highlander Cycling Welcomes YOU!
Greetings!
It's been a fun and wild ride this first month of business at Highlander
Cycling in historic downtown Longview. Scott, Brian and I have had a great time meeting new people and learning more every day about what area
cyclists want and need from their local bicycle shop. We would like to
say a special thank you to all of you who have stopped by to meet and
greet us. You have made us feel so welcome! We look forward to getting
to know you better and want you to know that we are always seeking new
ways to provide the right merchandise...at the right price...delivered
to you with exceptional and friendly customer service. So don't
hesitate to let us know if you would like to see a particular product,
service or event. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Janice

WINNERS OF THE MOUNTAIN BIKE CONTEST
Pastor Eric Johnson of the Robert Gray Baptist Church in downtown
Longview is the happy winner of the Mountain Bike Contest. Over 100
people entered the contest in anticipation of winning the KHS Alite
100.
"Thanks to our friends at Highlander for the new bike.
This new bike will give me years of two wheeling fun, thanks again
Pastor Eric." It was such a pleasure to meet Eric and his lovely wife
Colleen. We are looking forward to seeing them again sometime soon!

HIGHLANDER CYCLING IS LOCATED AT 1313 COMMERCE AVENUE IN HISTORIC DOWNTOWN LONGVIEW
At Highlander Cycling there is something for every cyclist. We carefully selected our bicycle dealers based on the quality of their products. Our primary line is from Kona, located right here in our own Ferndale, Washington. Kona mountain and asphalt bikes are unsurpassed in quality workmanship, and you can feel good about buying local! We recently became a Felt dealer and have several very sweet road bikes in stock. KHS completes our line of bicycles with an excellent offering of stylish cruisers. We are excited to be adding Schwinn cruisers, electric bikes and trikes to our merchandise selection in the very near future. A wide variety of parts and accessories compliments our line of quality bikes. And we have the best service department around, with fast and friendly service and expertise by Scott Forbes. GROWLERS GULCH GIRLS HIT THE TRAILS
If you follow us on Facebook you know that I've taken up mountain biking
with the Growlers Gulch Girls. These gals do know how to have fun! They are like deers in the forest gliding up and down
hills and over logs.
Growlers Gulch is a beautiful trail area
with a network of upside-down trail names such as Predator, Walk in the
Park, Terminator, and Beauty. But if you think you are going to get an easy
trail by riding Walk in the Park...think again. The toughest trails have the most tame names, surely meant to give you a laugh as you pedal up, up and up some more.
It's been a
pleasure riding with this group of dedicated cyclists. With years of
experience under their belts, they welcome newcomers like me and take
the time to teach us the ropes while providing lots of encouragement. To learn more about this club of awesome women, click here: Growlers Gulch Girls Blog.
And
though I took my first OTB (Over the Bars) tumble last weekend, I can't
wait to get back on the trails again for a new challenge of strength,
determination and fun! We would love to see you on Facebook! To join us click here: Highlander Cycling Facebook Fan Page
