OSAP collaborates with ADA and Septodont on new IC resource

The American Dental Association (ADA) enclosed a poster on "Practical Infection Control in Dentistry" in the September 7 issue of the ADA News.  OSAP members John Molinari DDS and Nancy Andrews RDH developed the poster, and OSAP contributed its expertise in the project review process.  We encourage OSAP members to post this colorful guide to help increase compliance with safe dental practices.

Septodont, an OSAP corporate member, supported the development of the poster through a generous educational grant.  If you did not receive the ADA News issue containing the infection control resource, you may contact Septodont at 1-717-286-0100 and press 0 to request a copy of the poster.

OSAP Board freezes member dues

In its September 22 Board meeting, the Directors voted to hold dues at the 2008-09 levels.  "We'll tighten our belts a little more because our members are doing exactly the same," said Board Chairman, Lori Paulson.  "OSAP is committed to work even harder over the next 12 months to deliver exceptional value for the same level of dues support.  We'll weather the global economic storm together and, as long as we keep safety foremost in mind, we'll all come out ahead," she said.

Chemical chart updated

The popular OSAP resource to help identify and evaluate environmental surface disinfectants for dental practices has been updated to include products by OSAP corporate member Benco.  Click here for the latest version of the chart.
