One-Day NAREA Initiative
Tuesday, November 1, 2011 Preceding NAEYC Annual Conference

This is a wonderful opportunity to enrich your NAEYC Conference experience by attending a one-day NAREA initiative on Tuesday, November 1 (the day before the NAEYC pre-conference sessions on Wednesday, November 2).
"The Reggio Emilia Approach:
Participation of Parents, Children and Teachers
in the Daily Life of the School and Educational Documentation"
  
Lella Gandini (L) and Amelia Gambetti (2nd from L) will introduce the program, share experiences from Reggio Emilia, Italy and offer their perspectives. Educators from four schools in different areas of North America will present their own identity and diversity as they highlight their unfinished journey of collaboration, organization, environment, visible learning of the children and parent involvement: Simonetta Cittadini-Medina (3rd from L) from L'Atelier Preschool, Florida; Beth MacDonald (3rd from R) MacDonald Montessori School, Minnesota; Susan Redmond (2nd from R) from First Baptist Kindergarten, South Carolina; and Jen Kesselring (R) from Riverfield Country Day School, Oklahoma.
