 PEP Talk! TV

 We are now one pepisode away from the end of Season 2, and we are happy!

This all means that we get to take a break before we go back in the studio to crank out another Season for YOU!!

Just in case you have not been watching, consider spending the next 6 months to catch up on Seasons 1 and 2.

Our latest show which was uploaded last week is already getting a LOT of attention; especially because it was released in Black History Month.  Here is what a couple people had to say after watching:

"These guests are so interesting. I feel so inspired to listen to them. Thanks for pursuing your passion, Rosie, and thanks for sharing with us. This episode was really uplifting."
Beverley Gregory, NY

"Peppy, thanks to you again for your gift of bringing out the best in people.  I was glued to your Facebook page from the moment you mentioned you were going to Ghana, and through you, I felt like I was on the continent.  You are so golden that at times I wonder if you know it, because you are also very humble and do what you do for the love of it.  PLEASE never stop because folks like me will cease to live vicariously through you."

Lionel Freeman, MI

Kathy English Holt and me at 'Nannie Live' on 02/25/12

March is Women's History Month! If you have been sticking with me through the years, you should know that like previous years, we will be celebrating ALL THINGS WOMEN each day in March, and sharing interesting female personalities with you each week in March on our Radio Show as well as in our weekly Newsletters.  This week, it gives me pleasure to feature Therese Prentice who will be the keynote speaker at our event 'Wonderful Women YouNite' which will be held on Saturday, March 31.  Scroll down to learn more about Therese.

This past weekend, I spent time with four (4) incredible women who I truly admire:  Akilah Karima, my self-appointed goddess-mother who I met about 6 years ago when I just burst on the scene with PEP, and who feels like a real god-mother to me; Kathy English Holt who I have known now for about 5 years and who I have loved on sight (and continue to love); Ethlyn Cowan-Grant who I met about 4 years ago in my spin class, and who has continued to surprise me (pleasantly) with each passing day; and Racquel Brown-Gaston who I have known now for about 2 years, but our friendship feels very old and special.  There were other women whose company I was in this past weekend, but those 4 really stand out and I would be remiss if I did not also acknowledge my "dupes," Tonya for her unwavering support and concern for me and my son (especially this past weekend).  I am thanking the women but there is one special man out there who I just want to give a big KISS right now for his support this past weekend.  I feel truly blessed to be among the women who have always had positive female (and male) energy in my life!

As we welcome a new month and countdown a a new Season, I implore all of my women folk to take some time this month to reconnect with yourself and get some much deserved "me" time.  Also take the time to reconnect with those positive female influences in your life and let them know how much you care about them.  I recently had a falling out of sorts with a friend of 12 years and the fact that we even got to the point of having a misunderstanding which hurt us both so much brought tears to my eyes.  At the end of the day, love has no color nor sex...it just IS.  Di, I love you, always.

Welcome to March, ladies -- this month is all about YOU! This year's theme is 'Women's Education - Women's Empowerment.'

The Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman

isn't in the clothes she wears,

The figure that she carries,

or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman

must be seen from in her eyes;

Because that's the doorway to her heart,

the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman

isn't in a facial mole;

But true beauty in a woman,

is reflected by her soul.

It's the caring that she cares to give,

the passion that she shows;

And the beauty of a woman

with passing years only grows.
