Hanging with friends and Pressure Busspipe at Reggae Tuesdays, 11/09/10 |
Peppy Entertainment & Promotions, LLC turns 5 years on November 15! I am so excited that at times I do not know what to do with myself, but I am taking it in humbling strides and planning for the next level.
PEP is the second child that I did not have so I will continue to nurture "her" so that she grows to be my pride and joy -- successful and of value. I do not think 5 years deserves a large birthday party so, NO, I will not be having a
bashment for this occasion. Instead, I am doing for my "child" what is more important than parties -- investing in her future so she continues to spread her wings and realize her true potential. I am keeping it short this week because I am still working on the finishing touches of what I hope to unveil to you all next week regarding
PEP. We started the first Caribbean RIDDIMZ events on November 15, 2005 (a 3rd Thursday), so I think it is fitting that I keep most of the good stuff for a 3rd Thursday, don't you?
Did not get a chance to pop my head in yesterday but I did pray for all the Veterans who have done so much for this country. May the souls of the war veterans rest in peace, and may the families be comforted that they died serving their country.
Happy birthday to all celebrating this week including
Dr. Bobby Ball and Ms. Lily Flowers. I had a chance to have a candid interview with
Fiona and Nicole Wright of
Caribbean Vibes Radio who also just celebrated an anniversary and I would like to big them up for all they have done for the Caribbean community here in the greater Washington DC area for the last six years.
See you next week when I will have lots more to
labrish about. Have a super-duper enjoyable weekend and remember that "Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion."
