THE PLUMBER
After 20 years in the police force, crime fighting is beginning to take its toll on Detective Jones (Garfield Reid) and by extension on his marriage. His wife Janet (Belinda Reid) is as frustrated with his lack of attention both inside and outside of the bedroom and, as John continues to fail to stand-up to his responsibilities, she seeks solace in an old flame Andre (Michael Nicholson). This is however more than a love triangle, as Andre is now married to Janet's only child Cindy (Trudy Bell). Matters become even more complicated when John invites his son Stamma (Everaldo Creary/Stede Flash) up from the country to live with him and he takes along his sweetheart Delcita (Andrea Wright). As the story twists and turns, Delcita always finds herself in the middle, creating more pressure on the Joneses as they struggle to keep their marriage afloat.

The Plumber follows in the great tradition of comedic hits mounted by Stages Productions and is being touted as one of the funniest plays to hit the stage for 2010.

Friends,

This week I really have little to say to you because I am getting ready to splurt and enjoy a few days off on a real vacation.  Do not call, email, or text me before next Wednesday, because I will not be in the country and therefore, will not be responding to you (no hard feelings).
Beverley, Minnie, Joyell, Bertha, and me hang by the bonfire site at Medissage (Kathy, Anta and Myrtle were doing other stuff)

In the spirit of consistency, and because I care about my audience, I just wanted to pop in to say hello to you all.  If you do not hear from me next week, it is because I am off enjoying my birthday week.  I want to express my heartfelt THANKS and send a virtual hug to all the wonderful ladies who joined me on "AweSome Autumn" at Medissage this past weekend. This was my fourth time going to Medissage and I still cannot get enough...the place is beautiful and the vibes you experience is out of this world! Beverley, Kathy, Bertha, Joyell, Minnie, Myrtle, Anta -- you ladies totally rock!  To the men who were in the house - Swami, Mandela and Emlyn, you guys are sooooo cool.  If YOU want to enjoy Love, Service, and Surrender and so much more at Medissage, link me.

So, FlemoTV has officially launched and I am LOVING the site!  Kudos to Alex and Javia Flemmings for making it happen and working out the kinks as it all gets better and better.  To see the interview I did with Brian "Ikulcha" Simpson of BlaXpression, click HERE (Parts 1 and 2, just for you).

To all the people who are getting bent out of shape because September 11 is right around the corner -- nuh watch nuh face, we are all safe and will have a splendid weekend.  Put THAT in the Universe!

Until we meet again, enjoy life and remember that love is all around you.  Open your eyes and hearts and receive it.

deadlyinstincts

Undercover DEA Agent Darius Kramer received an assignment to infiltrate, expose and take down the deadliest and most elusive drug family in New York City. The job requires his expertise, strategic moves, and no mistakes. But the DEA is not aware of one critical piece of information: its agent is the pawn in a lethal strategic game, where making mistakes is the only certainty. Closing the case is a race against time; every opponent's move could mean death and each of Darius' moves could cost him his life.
