Celebrate DC Caribbean Carnival in the Greater Washington DC Area this Weekend
carnival
The temperature will be hot; the bodies will be hot (mostly); the music will be hot; and the vibes will be HOTTER!  The 18th Annual DC Caribbean Carnival Extravaganza Parade will be staged along the Georgia Avenue corridor on Saturday, June 26, 2010!  The parade will commence at Missouri Avenue at 11:00am and terminate at the international marketplace at "DE SAVANNAH" - Banneker Recreation Park. DC Caribbean Carnival will host the international marketplace at "DE SAVANNAH" featuring food, craft and entertainment. With at least 6 performers on stage, 4 DJs, soooo many bands, Caribbean people from all over, lovers of Caribbean heritage, Caribbean food and crafts, plus nonstop whining, YOU do not want to miss this event.  Tickets are $10 a pop and the event will run from 12noon to 7pm.

Caribbean people need more than ONE day to party.  In fact, they insist on milking each day during the carnival season so that they can consume more than enough alcohol, water, music, food, and frolicking.

On Sunday June 27, 2010, DC Caribbean Carnival will continue hosting the international marketplace at Banneker Park, "DE SAVANNAH " with live performances from local and international artists including the hot lady from Barbados, Allison Hinds.  More food, craft, entertainment and much more will be in the park from 12:00noon until 7:00pm.
