Advising International Nanotech Companies on Business Development Opportunities in  Asia

  • Bio Focus (a pioneer Point of Care diagnostic company in Korea) & QT Tech (a Singapore semiconductor equipment and services provider) - visited our office in January for advice on nanotechnology and business development opportunities in Asia especially product distribution partners in Asia and regional R&D and business growth strategies.
  • Dr Alexei Andreev and Mr Michael Janse, Managing Directors of Harris and Harris (one of the world`s leading investors in companies enabled by nanotechnology and microsystems) visited various leading nanotech organizations and met with nanotech leaders in Singapore. We shared some of our insights on the regional nanotechnology development in Asia with the visitors. "Our portfolio companies have done fairly well during the economic down turn and many of them have strong partnerships with Asian manufacturers," Dr Andreev and Mr Janse indicated during their Singapore visit.
  • Nanoexa (a US start-up producing advanced Li-ion battery materials for electric  vehicle and portable devices helped by the state of the art quantum simulation techniques ) - is keen to explore business opportunities in Asia. We are working with Singapore EDB and Nanoexa for a possible internship program for training scientists/engineers on quantum simulation and battery materials fabrication. Learn more about Nanoexa in our next issues interviews.
