The end of Summer is almost here!  It absolutely flew by as we had one of our busiest Summers yet!

As you all know, I enjoy catering all types of events.  This month we are catering a 60th wedding anniversary for some very special clients from San Marino.  Last month we had the privilege of catering an event for The Sundance Institute.

Next month, I am especially excited for our next Underground Wine Tasting Dinner. While all the previous dinners have been in homes with incredible art collections or an architectural pedigree, this home is truly a landmark masterpiece.The venue will inspire my culinary creativity as I source the ingredients at our wonderful LA farmer's markets.

And don't forget to look for our High Holiday menu in next month's newsletter!!  They will be here before you can say,

Wine Tasting Dinners are Back!

This is a very special dinner in one of the most amazing houses in Los Angles - The Sowden/Balbes House. 

Designed by Lloyd Wright, son of one of America's greatest architects, Frank Lloyd Wright, this 1926 home is a magical oasis in the heart of modern-day Hollywood.  It was featured in Architectual Digest after it was meticulously renovated by designer/owner Xorin Balbes.

We will pair five wines with delicious seasonal food and there will be live music as well.

Award winning Grilled Cheese Recipe

As many of you know, we won a grilled cheese throw down at The Nose wine bar in Pasadena several months ago.
They now have our award winning grilled cheese sandwich on their menu!

2 large slices of aged Cheddar Cheese
2 slices of thickly sliced
 Pretzel Bread
1 generous teaspoon of chipotle jam
butter for grilling in a skillet
combine ingredients
grill until brown and crispy and the cheese is oozing out the sides

This recipe feeds 1 person!!
