Greetings!

The season of Advent is upon us once again. Advent literally means coming or arrival...   and what a joyous season it is for those who celebrate the arrival of Christ and trust Him as their King and Savior.  But Advent is a season without significance for the 6,000 unreached people groups around the world representing 2 billions souls who not only know nothing of the second coming; they know nothing of the first.  As long as these groups are unreached our Savior remains unknown, unacknowledged and unadored among them.

So there are 6,000 unreached people groups, but how many churches are there for every one of those groups?  The ratio is alarming to say the least, it is 600:1. Now pause for just one moment and allow your mind and heart to absorb the impact of that reality. ... There are 600 churches for every one people group that is sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death.  Simply put, all the resources needed to send and support an army of Christ-centered and joy-spreading ambassadors is already in the church.

The Long Range Vision of Sixteen:Fifteen

At Sixteen:Fifteen we have a deep conviction that the status quo must change, and by God's grace, it is changing.  And right now, you can make a gift that will be doubled to help this change continue.

The long range vision of Sixteen:Fifteen is:1,000 churches mobilized through church missions coaching, $1,000,000,000 of new missions funding strategically invested in finishing the great commission task, 1,000 unreached people groups engaged with church planting strategies.

Some people have asked us why we focus on mobilizing local churches as a means to fulfilling the Great Commission.  Well, George Miley puts it best, "There is widespread awareness that the energy and capacity of the missions movement would be appreciably enhanced if we could bring more local churches into meaningful participation. The vast majority of all resources God has entrusted to His people - He has placed in local churches."  Thus, we believe that mobilizing local churches to reach the unreached is of the highest importance.

$30,000 Matching Grant Opportunity

Several generous donors have offered a year-end matching grant of $30,000 to help us finish strong in 2010 and be positioned for maximum effectiveness in 2011. So your gift of $50 will be matched and doubled to become $100. $500 becomes $1,000 when matched, and $1,000 becomes $2,000.

As you can see, your generosity at this time will have a powerful effect on our efforts. I believe this strategy is essential to finishing our Great Commission task. As God leads, will you prayerfully consider a gift to help us fulfill our vision? Make a gift now at www.1615.org/donate. Yout tax deductible gift is greatly appreciated!
