susan's musings
| Hello All, I'm a little late getting the newsletter out this week, so I'll just mention a few highlights -- which is so hard because I love everything that goes on here at breathe!
We have a few spaces left in the brunch with meditation teacher and author Allan Lokos. You can see the invite here and let us know by Friday, January 20th if you would like to attend! Such an amazing opportunity to spend time with Allan. You can also come to his free talk Friday night, January 27 and his workshop on Saturday, January 28.
New York Times bestselling author (and Pikesville high grad -- in my class!) Eric Weiner is speaking at Bolton Street Synagogue about his new book, Man Seeks God: My Flirtations with the Divine, on Tuesday, January 31. Eric is such a fantastic story-teller -- those of you who read his first best-seller, The Geography of Bliss, already know this! You can see a great video of Eric on PBS here.
Lots of other events coming up including two Psychic/Intuition classes! See details below.
You will also find details about my 3-month Ayurvedic Course and cooking classes below.
Hope you all have really enjoyed the beginning of 2012. I feel like it's going to be a fascinating new year.

NEW! Everything Ayurveda: 3 Month Comprehensive Course, March 20 - May 22, 2012, with Susan Weis-Bohlen
| For the past three years I've been teaching many different Ayurvedic life-style classes, cooking classes and offering private consultations. Hundreds have gone through one program or another, and have seen amazing results and life-style changes. Now you can find it all in one course, over three months.
As many of you may know, I began practicing Ayurveda in late 2007 and subsequently lost 50 pounds and reduced my cholesterol by 80 points. Ayurveda also helped me open my heart, heal old wounds and experience life in a brand new way, clear of clutter and full of enthusiasm. These changes convinced me to delve deeper into the wisdom of this 5000-year-old Vedic Indian system of health and healing, which led me to study with The Chopra Center of Wellbeing and with Amadea Morningstar.
In addition to feeling terrific, Ayurveda gave me a deeper understanding of people and relationships. I believe that Ayurveda is ultimately to thank for my 2010 marriage to Larry! Without Ayurveda, I don't think I would have been clear and present enough to recognize my true love. I sincerely believe Ayurveda unveiled this wonderful life -- health, happiness, love and a feeling that I have all the tools I need to stay on this path forever.
In light of my experiences and several years of teaching, I've put together a three-month program designed to give you ALL YOU NEED to create an Ayurvedic life-style for your self! Everything Ayurveda includes all you need to help you live a healthier life, in harmony with nature: - Perfect Health Through Ayurveda 5-Week Program
- Two Vegetarian Ayurvedic Cooking Classes
- Shopping trip to the Indian Palace market and Wegman's
- One Individual Ayurvedic Consult
- Two Group Follow-up Sessions
- 20% discount off required Reading list
- 10% discount on Ayurvedic products at breathe books
- Private Internet group page to talk to your classmates and me 24-7!
