Internationally renowned high school motivational speakers and youth speakers Reggie Dabbs and Preston Centuolo each delivered power packed messages. The second annual Teen Talent 2010 featured 12 bands and dance groups that represented from various youth groups and churches across the islands. Blood Marked Cross took away the winning trophy and the prized giant Hershey chocolate bar in the band category and Raqad celebrated their win in the dance category.

A practical and informative Youth Leadership Seminar was also offered for training the youth group leaders who represented 32 different churches from across the Philippines. Thanks to God, the youth in the Philippines are finding unity and experiencing a powerful and fresh encounter with Him. These youth are already looking forward with anticipation to reuniting each year for Asiafest.

Special Guests and Events
 | Ken Anderson |
We were privileged to have our new Field Director for Asia/Pacific, Ken Anderson, preach in chapel and spend time with us getting to know all of the faculty, staff, and students. Marc Morris, Regional Superintendent for North/Southeast Asia and Oceania, was also with us and officiated the communion. This was a wonderful time for the Field Director to see the vision of the seminary while interacting with the students from across Asia and witness their excitement for the great things God is doing in the seminary and their lives. We were also honored to have visiting us Tommy Harvey, Executive Pastor, and Mark Hill, Missions Pastor, of Praise Cathedral in Greer, South Carolina. Pastor Harvey preached an outstanding message in chapel and made strong connection with the students and the administration. Our first 'ASCM Sunday' this school year was held at Praise Center Church of God in Pasay. Pastor Henry Maneja, an ASCM Alumnus, opened his church to our students who conducted the Sunday morning service. The ASCM band led praise and worship and Academic Dean, Jose Abraham, preached the Word of God. Our second ASCM Sunday was held at Bethany Christian Ministry in Makati, an Indonesian Church of God congregation pastored by Gideon Gunawan who is also an ASCM student. Again, our students conducted the entire service and President Rains preached the message. | Tommy Harvey |

ASCM Missions Team Delivers Two Carabao
Asian Seminary students who participated in the Mindoro Missions Team summer trip in April returned to the Mangyan people in Occidental Mindoro to deliver a gift of two carabao. Funds for the carabao were given by a donor from Crossroads Community Church. The village will be able to use the carabao to plow and to improve their farming productivity. |
ASCM Celebrates 37 Years

The three-day event was packed with activities including seminars, a blood drive, a photo exhibit, an alumni meeting, and the highly anticipated International Food Fair. Training Asia 360
"Training Asia 360" is ASCM's new Partnership Campaign. The Asian Seminary serves as the Church of God regional school for Asia/Pacific. Since 1973, we have been equipping ministers and leaders across Asia and the 10/40 Window. Our purpose is "Training Nationals to Reach their Own!" This vital ministry depends on donor support and scholarship. We cannot exist without you! Therefore, we have established the "Training Asia 360" Partnership Campaign to give you the opportunity to donate a small 'mustard seed' monthly or annual gift and become a partner with our students to fulfill the Great Commission in Asia! Here is how "360 Partnership" works: - ASCM Does 360° Training
From Grassroots, to Certificate, to Bachelor, to Masters, to Doctoral. - We Need 360 Partners
Churches or Individuals - To Give $360
In either a single $360 offering or $30/month for one year. Help us train up the next generation of Asian ministers!

From the President

Carol and I would like for you to seriously and prayerfully consider becoming a financial partner with ASCM. It is not our desire to take away from what you are already doing for local and global missions. Therefore, instead of asking for large donations, we have established a 'mustard seed' approach that looks for more people to give small amounts (Mt 13:31-32; Mt 13:8, 23; Mt 9:37). We are asking churches and individuals to give a small amount monthly or annually through the "Training Asia 360" partnership campaign. We hope that the amount will be small enough that you can easily add this vital ministry to what you are already doing and get connected with the Asian harvest! When you make the choice to partner with ASCM, you are reaching every nation in Asia through the students that we train for ministry. If we are going to reach those that are unreached in Asia, we must be training Asian nationals from each country to effectively reach their own people. That is exactly what ASCM does, but in order for our students to continue their training in these difficult economic times, we are asking for your financial help! We need 360 partners to give a $360 offering or $30/month. $30 a month cannot buy much these days, but when you plant it into GOOD SOIL, it can change nations for Christ. Please click here to become a 360 Partner today!THANK YOU!
Scott C. Rains President
