News in Brief |
Galen Leaders Honored:
Galen's Vice President of Academic Affairs Tracy A. Ortelli, MS, RN, CNE, and President Mark A. Vogt were named to the Business First Partners in Healthcare for 2009, which honors "Louisville-area health care professionals who put their hearts and souls into their work." A panel of editors chose nominees who have a large impact on the business side of health care, Business First Publisher Tom Monohan wrote. Tracy and Mark were two of 169 partners chosen -- and it is worth noting that some 85,000 people work in health care in the Louisville area, where Galen's main campus and corporate headquarters are located.
