Prayers for the Ten Days of Awe
Day Ten
|

We are at the end of our Ten Days of Prayer. As watchmen, we have prayed for all of the sons of Israel. May it be that our Father has heard our collective cry and will have mercy on us.
As we celebrate Yom Kippur, let us once more humbly lift our hands and hearts to our God. Let us afflict our human appetites and instead of focusing on them, let us turn our focus and faces toward Him. Let us also ask Him to have mercy on us, to pour out His Ruach (Spirit) on us.
Prayer Points for Day 10:
Pray that the sons of Israel who are
pursuing this work of restoration for the Kingdom would be strong and
courageous. Pray that the spirit of Joshua and Caleb would be upon them,
and that they would know that in the strength of the Holy One they can
possess the Land (Josh 1:6-9,18; 10:25). Pray they would be given
wisdom, discernment of spirits, and a double portion of the Holy Spirit
as they seek to do the Father's will in the Earth. Pray that they would
walk as Messiah walked. Amen and Amen!
Blessed be the name of the God of Israel, now and forevermore. Amen and Amen.

Yom
Teruah begins ten days between it and the most holy day of the year,
Yom Kippur. These days are traditionally called the "Ten Days of Awe."
They mark a time wherein brothers are especially supposed to make peace
with brothers- because the "judgment" associated with Yom Kippur is
coming.
This season teaches us that to the greatest extent
possible we want to make peace with all men before we stand before our
King, Messiah Yeshua. We want to hear the Prince of Peace say to us,
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
To help us prepare our hearts during this time, we are posting (ahead of time) some suggested prayer points for each day.
Like
our forefathers in Egypt, if we truly want deliverance we need to "cry
out," we need to make our supplications known in Heaven and Earth. Then
Abba will hear our groaning and remember that we are His covenant
people (Exo 2:23-24; 1 Pet 2:9-10). Without faith it is impossible to
please Him, so we must pray with faith, believing that He is, and that
He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6). At this
time we need to cry out in prayer for the changes that we so
desperately need to come to the body of Messiah.
We list
these ten days of suggested prayers in my feast book (plus the verse
references from which the ideas were taken). There is one section for
each of the Ten Days of Awe (see chapter 29, "Ten Days of Prayer").
These prayers are unique in that they especially focus on the
restoration and reunion of the whole house of Israel.

Finally, we want to suggest that you listen to a new song. We we are
