I attended an aerobics convention last month that focused a lot on maximizing your training by utilizing your heart rate. There are tools to assist with this including heart rate monitors that help assure you get the results you want, such as cardiovascular training or leaning out and maximizing muscles gain. Many get the wrong idea that exercise is good no matter what. It is key to mental and physical health that your body is receiving the correct amount of nutrients before you exercise. Exercising too much or with the wrong nutrients on board can create more harm than good. Keep in mind that balance is key.
