The basketball program's recruitment of Australian players is shaking things up in the athletic world, with two of its players, senior Matthew Dellavedova and alumnus Patty Mills, competing on the Australian Olympic team.

 

Gaels Well Represented 

on WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll 

Nearly 40 percent of Saint Mary's student-athletes were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes who have balanced athletic success with academic excellence. Way to go, Gaels!  

 

Martin AgostaAgosta Signs with Giants 

Second round draft pick Martin Agosta has signed a contract with the San Francisco Giants after being selected with the 84th overall pick in the MLB First Year Player Draft.  

 

Geyer Wins Tourney at Poppy Hills

Senior golfer Ben Geyer shot rounds of 70-71-71 to clinch a victory at the Northern California Golf Association Amateur Stroke Play Championship on July 15 at Poppy Hills Golf Club. Saint Mary's head coach Scott Hardy tied for fourth place after rounds of 72-74-72.
