Professor Kristine Chase has been elected Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of the East Bay. Goodwill has almost 30 stores in the East Bay, and last year provided job-related services to over 4000 people. It is a relatively unique organization, since it does not rely on monetary donations, but instead is self-supporting through the donations of goods that people make.

SEBA Professor Barbara McGraw attended an invitation-only White House briefing on the goals and progress of the President's faith-based initiative. The five-hour event on May 11 was entitled "Advancing the Common Good at Home and Abroad" and was held in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, DC.

To broaden the global perspectives of students, SEBA partners with Peking (Beijing) University, a top-ranked school in China, for a Professional MBA class on International Management.
