Thirty years ago, Deanna said, "I do." If you're wondering how I ever landed a girl like her, join the club. (Seems it's a mystery to everybody we know.) All I can tell you is that God is good. I definitely married up. 
Turns out the best part of marriage isn't just falling in love, as romantically wonderful as that continues to be. No, the real "bonus round" to marital bliss is "falling in like," becoming friends like none other. It's awesome...here we are in our fifties, and it's never been better. Indeed, our best years are still ahead.
And what an honor to give a third of our life together (so far) to this mission of Pentecost Walk. Thanks for walking with us.
Update: The demolition phase on our water-damaged house is complete, and the rebuild has begun. We're needing to do a lot of the work ourselves, but it's a great adventure. The biggest challenge is getting it done in between all the back-to-back travel. (The last segment saw me home just three days in five weeks.)
And we do need to finish up soon...because our Rapid-Fire Prayerwalk (through 70 cities from coast-to-coast) is still slotted to start before the fall!
This might sound nuts in view of recent events, but rest assured, we're not trying to prove anything...we just want to be obedient. God will make a way where there is no way. (And yes, we will need a lot of help to pull this off on such ridiculously short notice...so please stay tuned.)
