Beloved prayer warriors,

Thank you for such an immediate and resounding response to last week's prayer request.  The US Embassy reports that Said was released and reunited with his family.  Hallelujah!  Remember, his story is one of many; let's stay informed and stay on our knees, amen? 

I'm back on the Central Coast, working alongside my fellow under-shepherds.  And the momentum isn't waning; God has wrecked us, captivating our hearts afresh. 

The second-of-five essentials...

Our love for one another is being manifest in profoundly new ways, light-years beyond the arm's-length limits of a stereotypical "ministerial association."  We are re-discovering how much we need each other, that we cannot endure the trials of life without one another.  And as co-confessors, we're not just contending for that in our own individual churches, but throughout the local community of Christ.   

Remember when you were first saved, how God used your Christian friends to quench your thirst for unconditional love and acceptance?  Do you still feel that way?   

You should.  Watch this video...from an "in-the-moment" exhortation God ignited in my heart, while ministering in this very same region nearly three years ago.  

When Jesus prayed, "...the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one," He was intentionally including us, laying the framework that His glory would forever be manifest in our unity.  Beloved, in the unity of the Spirit, we are, as Christ's body, the the very hope of that glory.
