TEAM Event

What is a TEAM Event?

TEAM stands for Technical Environmental Analytical Meeting. Babcock Laboratories began holding TEAM Events in 2005 in response to a demand for improved communication of relevant
and topical information within the industry.

"Babcock Laboratories has always been an advocate of continuous learning. We wanted to have the opportunity to facilitate information transfer and update clients on important developments in environmental testing," says Allison Mackenzie, CEO.

The events feature highly knowledgeable speakers well recognized in their respective fields. Past speakers include Logan Olds, General Manager of Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority; Dr. Nicole Blute, former Senior Engineer for Malcolm Pirnie; and Tim Moore, President of Risk Sciences.

After TEAM Events, attendees are always welcome to tour our facilities, view the latest instrumentation, and see first hand how the laboratory operates.

The next ESB TEAM Event program is on the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR3) and will be held on October 25th. Please reference the TEAM Event page on our website for more information about the event as it becomes available. Stay tuned for email updates as well!

If you would like to attend the next TEAM Event, or if you have any questions, please contact Cathy Iijima at 951-653-3351 ext. 235 or email her at ciijima@babcocklabs.com. For more information, visit  www.babcocklabs.com.

ReusableBag
ESB Green Tip:
Reusable Bags

The next time you shop, B.Y.O.B.! Your own bag, that is. By reusing bags or using cloth bags you can cut the amount of waste put into landfills, keep the coast and its marine life clean and healthy, reduce petroleum use and save money! Many stores offer discounts if you provide a reusable bag to carry your products. Plastic bags are not biodegradable, and when they ultimately do break down, they release toxins into the soil that pollute our water systems. By reusing bags we can make a difference in our carbon footprint and promote a healthy planet for generations to come.
