 Welcome to the table!
It sure is getting hot out there and as the weather heats up, so does our busy season! Our fleet is geared up and ready, all seven of our showrooms are fully staffed and fully functioning, and we are ready to serve you!
As you may - or may not - know, I was recently installed as President of ISES New England at last month's Heart and Soul Awards ceremony. Many thanks to all who helped make this event such a success, including all of our sponsors: The New England Aquarium, Elegant Aura Events, Exquisite Events, Similar Jones, Fun Enterprises, Groove Entertainment, Entertainment Specialists, Strawberry Hill Confectionery, BK Designs, ALPS, David Fox Photography, and Generations Cinemastories. And a special thanks to Jenn Gullins and Allison Quill for their fabulous leadership.
That being said, I would like to express the importance of industry associations like ISES. I am a major advocate of groups such as: the SEARCH Foundation, NACE, MPI, the Boston and Rhode Island Wedding Groups, ICA, ARA, local chambers of commerce and visitors bureaus (Greater Boston, Providence, and Portland), and of course the ISES chapters for New England and Rhode Island. It is through these associations that we can get quality education, network and build the bonds and relationships that make this industry so great. These groups also allow us to be innovative and successful together. If you are not a member of one of the groups I mentioned above, please take the time to see what membership could do for you. Talk to someone you know who is involved, and find out first hand what benefits you will gain.
Now is the time for all of us to work together to continue making events memorable and remarkable. Thanks as always for your support and don't hesitate to reach out to see how we can "make things happen" for your events!

On the Move
In an effort to better serve our clients, we will be
consolidating warehouse space into one larger facility in Stoughton. We are expanding the Stoughton warehouse space
significantly and remodeling a brand new on-site linen facility to accommodate
the increased inventory and activity. This will provide us with better quality
control for our products and more efficient deliveries and pick ups. Delivery charges
to all locations will remain the same. The Rentals Unlimited Woburn space will be moving to a
new set of offices, showroom, and rental pick up location at 4 Arrow Drive in Woburn. This location
will be operational by the beginning of August.

Rentals Unlimited is pleased to announce that all seven of our offices and showrooms are now fully staffed and fully functional! And - our location at 317 New Boston Street in Woburn is still running at full speed until the move. We plan to have as seamless of a move as possible so that you can continue to use this location as a showroom and point of contact.

 Phase 1 of Construction Complete!
As we prepare to start construction to expand our Stoughton warehouse and create a new linen processing center, we are happy to announce that the remodeling and expansion for the Stoughton offices are done! Our Corporate Headquarters now has 7 additional offices and got a couple coats of fresh and exciting paint colors. The famous linen wall in the showroom has been expanded, and is stocked to the gills! We invite you to schedule an appointment to see our improved space and get reacquainted with our showroom and products.

I just got back from North Carolina from the fabric show, and I have seen some great new items! Hot colors being shown were purples and plums, turquoise, and lots of gray, pewter, and silver tones. As much as it pains me to say, pink is back - in every shade imaginable! Fabrics with lots of texture and "bling" were also quite abundant.
Traditional damasks and patterns are being recolored in fun party colors. Just like our Party Damasks! Black and white prints have not yet gone the way of the Dodo, but are taking a back seat to these other fun and exciting hues.
Don't
forget to check out our featured items for July! We have just added Romance Crushed Taffeta in Pewter to our collection. I love the texture and look of this fabric and this new color is sure to be a hit for the upcoming months.
We are also proud to announce a new line of furniture available - Imperial Aubergine. This bold color accentuates the collection's sleek lines and can add the right amount of drama to any event.

In The Green House
Stephanie Douglas joins the Rentals Unlimited team this season as a Senior Account Executive in our Woburn location. Stephanie will be the primary contact for all furniture orders and national accounts. She has worked in the industry for over nine years at a national rental company, and will be able to use her expertise to help all of our current and new clients. Stephanie has been involved with the International Special Events Society (ISES) on the local and international levels, including chairing Membership Development and serving on the International Board of Governors.
Sarah Stewart is also new to our staff as an Event Rental Consultant based in our Stoughton office, and comes to Rentals Unlimited after attending the University of New Hampshire. She graduated with a major in Recreation Management & Policy and Hospitality Management with a concentration in special event planning. While attending UNH, Sarah interned for the City of Newburyport Youth Program in Newburyport, MA. She also did a practicum at the sales and catering office of the Sheraton Portsmouth in Portsmouth New Hampshire. She is excited for the opportunity to share this background and use her knowledge to help serve our clients.
Sally Newhall joins Rentals Unlimited as the Account Executive for our Portland, Maine office. She comes from a diverse background in event and meeting planning, incentive travel planning, advertising sales, and television production. She has worked for clients all over the world, and has worked on several local Maine events. Having settled with her family in Southern Maine, she hopes that her knowledge of the area and personal involvement in the community will help keep her in tune
to the needs of the our clients in the region.
Jenna Howard joins Rentals Unlimited after working for a local Destination Management and Event Planning company. She also worked for two of Boston's most sought after venues where she planned a wide range of events. Jenna enjoys the creativity and high energy of the hospitality industry, and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Leadership and concentrated in Hospitality. She
is a Board Member for the New England chapter of NACE, and looks forward to representing Rentals Unlimited in the same capacity.
