New York's Olmstead Plan: 

New Website

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's Office has created an Olmstead Plan website which will allow suggestions for the Olmstead Plan to be submitted on-line and also provides registration and scheduling information on the various events (October 2nd's planned event was not yet announced at this printing). Go to: http://www.governor.ny.gov/olmsteadplan

This newly in-stock publication is for clinical practitioners, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, who provide primary care in office settings and community health centers.

US Department of Education Issues Restraint and Seclusion Resource  
US Dept of Education

The U.S. Department of Education has issued an important Restraint and Seclusion: Resource Document outlining 15 guiding principles to help ensure that schools are safe and healthy learning environments for all students.  This document does not set forth any new requirements, does not create or confer any rights for or on any person or require specific actions by any state, locality, or school district.
