All Saints Day Annual Offering

Clergy and Parish Administrators,

This message includes two items to assist you in publicizing the annual offering to benefit All Saints Center on All Saints Sunday, November 3, 2012.  Copies for bulletin and newsletter announcements are in the body of this e-mail.  It would also be extremely helpful if someone in the parish, preferably someone who has been to All Saints, would make a verbal announcement during the announcement portion of the service.  If you have questions about this, please feel free to contact me, Hannah Bradley, at hannahelisebradley@gmail.com or 270-227-7090. 

1)  Bulletin Announcement for Sunday, October 20 and Sunday, October 27.  

On All Saints Sunday, Nov. 3, all parishes in our diocese will be collecting an offering for All Saints Center.  Your generosity will help All Saints continue to transform the lives of those it serves by fostering exploration, renewal, formation, and growth through nature and Christian community. This sacred space is home to summer camp, youth gatherings, School of Ministry, and many more.  You can also give to All Saints at any time by going to www.allsaintscenter.org and clicking the "Give to All Saints" link.

2)  Here are two paragraphs of copy for your October parish newsletter.  Please make every effort to include this important announcement.    

Note:  Change "This Parish" to the name of your parish.

FOURTH ANNUAL ALL SAINTS OFFERING

On All Saints Sunday, November 3, the undesignated offering from every parish in the Diocese will go to All Saints Camp and Conference Center.  If you put your regular pledge (cash in a marked envelope or check with "pledge" in the memo line) in the collection plate, the money will go to This Parish but if you give cash or a check with "All Saints" in the memo line that money will help maintain All Saints Camp and Conference Center.  Please read the special All Saints bulletin insert to learn more about the Center and its needs.

Every year All Saints serves hundreds of youth and adults as they attend summer camp, youth gatherings, and adult meetings and retreats.  Many people also enjoy family time at All Saints for family get-aways, reunions, or weddings.  The facility needs to be maintained and improved constantly and this annual appeal is just one way for us to help raise the funds needed to keep this beautiful Center functioning as the healthy heart of our Diocese.
