We Are Family!

On April 8, The Shelter celebrated the amazing achievements of our 250-member "Volunteer Family" with a Volunteer Recognition Brunch at Naples Grande. These individuals logged 22,000 hours of service this year - if monetized, the total would exceed $495,000!

This year's Outstanding Volunteer was Carol Graham, who helped expand The Shelter's Peacemakers program to allow our youth participants to explore and better understand their emotions.

Many other outstanding volunteers were honored and attendees enjoyed a disco-inspired video of volunteer photos to the tune of "We Are Family" by the Pointer Sisters.
