Holiday closures
NADCO® will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26 and 27, in observance of Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Monday, Nov. 30, at 8:30 a.m. We will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas, and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 28, at 8:30 a.m. We hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe holiday season!

Company sponsors, staffers support cause

About a dozen NADCO® employees, friends and family members participated in the Buddy Walk on Oct. 17.
|
NADCO® is pleased to have sponsored the Manasota BUDS (Bringing Up Down Syndrome) Buddy Walk on Oct. 17, donating banners and signs for the event for the fourth year in a row.
In addition to providing signage, several NADCO® staff members and their families participated in the walk, which benefits the Manasota BUDS, National Down Syndrome Congress and National Down Syndrome Society. Manasota BUDS, a group based in the Bradenton/Sarasota area of Florida, is committed to serving people with Down syndrome and their families in the community.
Hundreds of supporters gathered for the walk, which was held at Hunsader Farms in Bradenton during the annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival.

Pooches photographed for canine contest
Loyal readers of the newsletter (and perhaps callers to the NADCO® office) know that there are often several dogs on hand, particularly Lucy, Charlie and Stella, the three pups belonging to company owners Neil and Rená Doniger.
National Dog Week is annual canine observance held the last week of September, and NADCO® celebrated with a photo contest. Employees were encouraged to submit photos of their dogs (or cats or children) showcasing NADCO® products.
Office staffers Kati Sands and Ken Decker brainstormed and submitted photos of their dogs for the contest. Kati's dog, Gage, posed in a decorated bath tub with some shampoo bottles featuring NADCO® labels. Ken utilized a theme of "NADCO®'s newest press operator is a bit messy ..." showing his dog, Bianca, in an ink- and tape-mess. Both Kati and Ken won a $50 prize.

New printer offers exciting capabilities
NADCO® is happy to announce the purchase of a new, state-of-the-art, wide format inkjet printer that will allow us to serve our customers' needs in expanded ways.
The Roland printer can print up to a 54" wide web on a variety of substrates, allowing the production of anything from full-color labels to large signs and banners. It has the ability to print opaque white and metallic inks, guaranteeing crisp, eye-catching results for any application.
The machine also features digital die cutting, creating basic shapes as well as intricate contours.
