Fall has arrived! Just the slight cooling of our days bring inspiration of what is before us. Changing leaves, cool breezes, football and soccer games, Halloween and pumpkin pie just to name a few of our favorite things this time of year Autumn is a time of renewal and hope is in the air!
So many wonderful things are happening at the Child & Family Guidance Center this fall. This issue includes excellent resources for parents navigating children back to school. I hope you will take a few minutes to catch up with us.

San Francisco Sailing!
Sean and April Donovan of Sherman were the highest bidders of the coveted San Fransisco Sailing live auction package at the 2014 Starfish Benefit that included a once in a lifetime experience aboard the famous USA 76' all-carbon racing yacht used by the Oracle Team USA in the 31st America's Cup.
Quote from April:
"Our San Francisco package from the 2014 Starfish Benefit was an AMAZING experience. From the concierge service that coordinated every detail to the fabulous accommodations at The Fairmont and our afternoon spent sailing the Bay on an America's Cup yacht, we made some amazing memories. The need throughout Texoma continues to be great in assisting children and families living in poverty through life's difficult trials, traumas and tribulatons. How to recognize the warning signs and what to do next

The purpose of this course is to increase professionals working with children practical knowledge base about human trafficking and sexual assault. The team of presenters will work to educate attendees on the current human trafficking and sexual assault crisis as well as how to identify victims of human trafficking and sexual assault.
