Greetings!
Summertime is here! Children are excited to be out of school and ready for summer fun! Often times, excitement soon turns to boredom once the newness has worn off. Please check out a great checklist of 77 summer activities to keep children active and safe this summer created by parenting expert Stacy Molter.
At CFGC, summertime is a busy time for plans, preparation and new projects. New this summer are FREE groups for children that will begin in July. Details are below.

FREE Groups for Children this Summer at CFGC
Girl Power
A four session group for adolescent girls to learn and share about values, body image, peer pressure, and relationships. Join us as we strengthen self-esteem, foster resiliency, and inspire girls to become confident, self-reliant young women.

Ages 8 and up

Conflict Resolution for Kids
This four session group has been designed to help kids better understand anger and violence toward others, so that they may make healthy and successful choices about their own behaviors. Bullying and bullying intervention strategies will be addressed. Through activities, art, and role play, participants will realize that they can develop practical strategies to manage any emotion.

In The Five Love Languages book, New York Times bestselling author Dr. Gary Chapman guides couples in identifying, understanding, and speaking their spouse's primary love language. LaVerne will present this relationship process and share how she uses it with her clients in counseling.
