There was a time when I did not sense my dental practice was particularly unique. However, with each year we find out just how unique we are.
We often have patients returning to our office after being absent for several years. They tell us of experiences of unsatisfactory dental work, of feeling like they were sold something they did not need, of feeling they were not respected as individuals as they were with us.
My dear friends, the delivery of dental care is changing. With dental insurance, with Obamacare, and with the ownership of dental practices shifting to more corporate entities, profits are being pursued with more eagerness and importance. I am deeply saddened to see what is happening to my dental profession.
Thankfully, opportunities still exist to find some dentists who provide that same quality, respectful care that used to be very common. You can find that here. We work to provide quality care with superb personal service at a value. I do feel like a salmon swimming upstream here; however, I know this is the right thing to do. We value you immensely. We do see within you all the dignity that our great God has imparted upon us as humans. We will always respect that.
