Step 2: Use cutting plate to die-cut acetate (vellum would also work - you want something thin, yet sturdy).
Step 3: Adhere stencil to a white card stock panel and sponge on Distress inks. Amy used Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn.
Step 4: With stencil still in place, stamp an image over the sponging. Amy used the music score image from the
Of Thee I Sing stamp set.
Step 5: Remove stencil to reveal background pattern.
Step 6: Use the same cutting plate to die-cut a panel of card stock. Off-set it slightly before adhering to the sponged panel in order to reveal the white, negative edge.
Step 7: Optional: Add a second cutting plate die-cut and off-set in the opposite direction. Don't be afraid to play around with placement to see what different patterns you can create!
Step 8: Die-cut layers into a tag shape. Amy used a
Tag Stacklets 2 die. Add
Tag Reinforcements die-cut. Layer and embellish as desired.
