April 30 is Deadline to Save $43,000
We need 65% of the eligible ELCA-Primary health plan
members and spouses in our synod to complete the confidential Mayo Clinic Health Assessment by April 30. Taking the assessment will help all of our synod's congregations and organizations save a collective $43,000 on ELCA health contributions in 2014.
You will also benefit from taking the assessment. By taking the health assessment you are taking stock of your health and will earn $150 in wellness dollars. Healthy leaders enhance lives and create a healthier ELCA community.

Congregation Listing on ELCA Website
Congregations can now submit a photo to be included with their congregational listing on the ELCA's website. Photos for the online directory should be 600x230 pixels and emailed to Philip Miller at philip.miller@elca.org. Once you have submitted your photo you will receive an email confirming your photo submission.

Holy Land: Palestinian debt endangers hospital's mission
Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton has requested that the U.S. use a portion of its funds that support the Palestinian National Authority to pay the group's debt to Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem, which would help ensure that Palestinians continue to receive the health care they need.
