Fall Theological Conference
The annual Fall Theological Conference will be September 28-30, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport. Writer and theologian, Pr. Susan Briehl, and Dr. James Nieman, President of LSTC, will be the keynote speakers for this year's event. Look for more conference details and registration in the beginning of June.

Vision Trip to Pare Diocese in Tanzania
You are invited to visit our companion synod in Tanzania
 June 23-July 4, 2014, as we seek to deepen our relationship with the Pare Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania
Goals of the Vision Trip:
- Be renewed and empowered in faith and commitment to Christ's mission by one another's witness to the Gospel.
- Enhance and increase understanding about the work of the Companion Synod Ministry.
- Increase individual understanding of the concept of accompaniment, especially for those who have not had the opportunity to visit the Pare Diocese.

World Malaria Day
World Malaria Day is coming up on April 25, and it's another great opportunity to do something big for the ELCA Malaria Campaign.
ELCA Malaria Campaign is looking to members of this church to help take the work of the campaign into the next country - Namibia. If ELCA members raise $250,000, we'll have enough to kick-start programing in Namibia, the last country in the rollout plan.
