Participants will gather around the theme of Evangelism to explore how each of us is an Everyday Evangelist called by God to boldly live out our faith and share Jesus' love.

2014 ELCA Hunger Grant Recipients
Congratulations to the 2014 Southeastern Iowa Synod ELCA Domestic Hunger Grant recipients! ELCA Domestic Hunger Grants support ministries that offer hope and assistance to many thousands of people who experience poverty and hunger in the United States. The grants fund projects in community development and community-based organizing and advocacy. This year's recipients are:

Encouraging Youth to Explore and Grow in Their Faith
The Southeastern Iowa Synod Children and Youth Leader Network is made up of children and youth ministry workers and lay volunteers who have a passion for walking with the young people in our synod, and sharing the amazing love of Christ with them. Ignite and the Des Moines Area Youth Network are two groups in our synod that come together to plan events that encourage youth to explore and grow in their faith. Keep Reading...

 and a vacation Bible school curriculum will soon be available to help you and your congregation learn more about the impact Lutheran malaria programs are making in Africa.

Rejoice! 150
You are invited! LSI will be celebrating its 150th anniversary
this year across the state in a variety of ways. At the center of this special anniversary is an inaugural signature dinner event - Rejoice! 150. This event will both celebrate LSI's 150th anniversary and raise funds to support tens of thousands of vulnerable Iowans through compassionate services.
