Mission Support designated for fiscal year 2013 must be received in the office by January 31 to be recorded as a contribution towards your congregation's 2013 intent.

The everyday saints of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, IA and St. John's Lutheran Church in Queen City, MO were featured in ELCA World Hunger's LifeLines this winter. Both of these feeding ministries are supported by ELCA World Hunger Domestic Hunger Grants.

A high-impact, low-cost, event for junior high youth who are involved in confirmation ministry across the Southeastern Iowa Synod. It will be a day of worship, scripture, and learning around the theme "When Hungry Hearts Find Bread."
Participants will be informed and inspired about how they can make a difference in their own backyard and around the world feeding hungry hearts!

This year, CTIM welcomes Peggy Hahn, Executive Director, LEAD, Gulf Coast Synod. Peggy will inspire, share ideas and provide resources that will expand your thinking and deepen your spiritual life. This is an event for everyone in your congregation - bring your entire evangelism team or council to participate!

The Southeastern Iowa Synod and Grand View University are sponsoring a youth leadership event for high school youth June 19-22, 2014 in Des Moines.
Youth who have completed 8th-12th grades at the end of this school year are invited to engage in leadership development, bible study, service outreach, worship and TONS of fun.
